🔥 Heroes Dutch Comic Con – A Legendary Line-Up Awaits!

It’s that time again—Heroes Dutch Comic Con is back and bigger than ever! This summer edition is truly next-level, with three full days of pop culture magic. From Friday’s Preview Night on June 20 to the main event on Saturday and Sunday (June 21–22), Jaarbeurs Utrecht will become the ultimate fan haven. Last year we attended the Summer edition and the Winter edition of Heroes Dutch Comic Con. Now, it's time again for Summer edition 2025! So, guess what? We’ll be there on June 21 and 22—ready to explore the halls, meet some of our favorite stars, reconnecting with familiar faces, and snap photos to remember this epic weekend forever. 🖤📸

🌟 Supernatural Reunion: The Winchesters, an Angel and a demon
Fans of Supernatural are in for a major treat! For the first time ever, Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) and Genevieve Padalecki (Ruby the demon) are making their way to HDCC. They're joining the returning of another fan-favorite, Misha Collins (Castiel), whom we had the joy of meeting last year. It’s an unmissable reunion bringing together three iconic characters from one of the most beloved cult series of all time.


🌀 Doctor Who Legends Take the Stage
After last year’s sudden cancellation, David Tennant is finally landing at HDCC—and this time, it’s set in stone. Alongside him is the equally legendary Billie Piper, known to Whovians worldwide as Rose Tyler. With all the buzz around Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor regenerating into Rose in the recent season, fans are speculating… could Billie be stepping back into the TARDIS? 👀

Whether it happens or not, seeing them live will be a moment to remember.

🔬 Chemistry, Magic & Lore
There’s more TV greatness on the way:
- Dean Norris, best known as Hank from Breaking Bad, is making his HDCC debut.
- Dan Fogler from the Fantastic Beasts films adds a magical touch from the Wizarding World.


🎤 Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! & Voice Legends
Anime and gaming fans can look forward to meeting incredible voice actors:
- Tara Sands, known for her work in Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, returns—someone I had the pleasure of meeting last October during a signing event in the Netherlands. Working designing her online promotional materials was something I did as well. I can't wait to reconnect with her! Tara signed our favorite Pokémon cards featuring Bulbasaur, Clefairy, Oddisch and also our CD cover which is a poster too when you unfold it. It's the CD cover of Pokémon 2B.A. Master featuring the Pokémon theme song by Jason Paige, and other songs featuring the voice actors themselves as well singing as Misty, Brock, Ash, Professor Oak, Team Rocket's Jessie, James, Meowth, Giovanni and more familiar faces in Pokémon, including other Pokémon!
- Megan Hollingshead, another legendary voice actress, will also be joining HDCC for the first time. We haven't met her yet but we have seen so many cool photos of her with her fans. We love her work, her contribution to Pokémon. Megan will be gracing our CD cover as well with her signature and Pokémon TCGs for us featuring Morpeko, Gloom, Bellsprout and other Pokémon she voiced.


🎨 Disney Lorcana Artists
Trading card fans, rejoice! From the magical world of Disney Lorcana, two official illustrators are attending:
- Jochem Van Gool, whom I (Ranbert) met and assisted during a card event earlier this year, March 23rd. At that event I set up his signing booth and took care of his signing session and break, had a chat in the green room and got to know him more.
- Matthew Robert Davies, bringing his unique artistic energy to the show floor. We will be meeting him for the very first time!


🦸‍♂️ Comic Powerhouse:
This year’s comic guest list is stacked with legends, including Julian Lopez whom we met during the exclusive Poster Reveal Night on May 21, where we received two signed posters and attended a special screening of the movie Thunderbolts* (Marvel action/adventure). We can't wait to meet him again!

From armor builds to anime transformations, these top-tier cosplayers are bringing the heat:
- Ultimate Party Pirate whom I have met several times at other comic cons! Can't wait to reconnect with this awesome Jack Sparrow lookalike and fan of Johnny Depp!

📸 What We're Looking Forward To
We’ll be at Heroes Dutch Comic Con on both Saturday and Sunday, and we’re beyond excited for everything the weekend has to offer. From exploring the vibrant vendor halls to attending epic panels and seeing cosplayers bring our favorite characters to life—there’s going to be so much to take in.

But one of the highlights for us will definitely be the chance to meet some of the incredible special guests in person. We've already had unforgettable experiences in the past, like meeting Misha Collins, Tara Sands, and Jochem Van Gool, and this time we’re looking forward to creating new memories with both familiar faces and first-time visitors. We’ll also be going on photo ops with a few of the guests—a tradition that always brings joy, nerves, and excitement all rolled into one.


The moments we do capture and the conversations we’ll have are what make this event so meaningful to us. It’s not just about panels, autographs, photo ops or selfies—it’s about connecting with the stories and people that have inspired us for years. We can’t wait to bring you along for the ride!
